I’m Amy, and I help busy, burned-out women overcome their overwhelm and live their lives with much less stress and much more intention, fulfillment, and joy.

I created Daring DVM Coaching to help high-achieving women—just like you—break free from exhaustion and reclaim the energy, balance, and fulfillment they deserve. 

The name Daring DVM comes from the work of Brené Brown, whose research on courage and vulnerability inspired me to be daring in my own life, and it’s also a tribute to my roots as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).

Like many of the women I work with, my career has evolved in ways I never expected. I know firsthand how easy it is to push through exhaustion and burnout, believing that if you just work harder, you’ll finally feel in control. But real balance doesn’t come from doing more—it comes from redefining success on your own terms.

Now, I have the privilege of coaching incredible women who are ready to step out of survival mode—without guilt, without compromising values, and without sacrificing what matters most—and step into a life where they can thrive and finally feel like themselves again.

Rest is a right - not a reward.

As high-achieving women, we’re taught to measure our worth by how much we do. We say yes when we’re already stretched thin, tying our value to productivity. Even when we’re exhausted, we struggle to rest, believing we haven’t earned it.

But burnout doesn’t mean we’re failing. It means we’ve been carrying too much for too long.

Rest isn’t selfish. It’s essential. And when we honor that, we show up with more clarity, energy, and purpose. You are valuable, not because you sacrifice yourself, but because you exist. You deserve a life that reflects that truth.

Our emotional and mental health are invaluable.

Yet, as high-achieving women, we often put our well-being last, pushing through exhaustion to meet expectations, support others, or keep things afloat. We tell ourselves we’ll rest later, but later rarely comes.

Eventually, burnout catches up. We leave careers we once loved—not because we weren’t capable, but because we were never taught how to care for ourselves while doing meaningful work.

This isn’t just about our jobs. It shapes how we see ourselves. Real success isn’t just about grit. It’s about emotional resilience, mental health, and learning to care for ourselves like we care for everyone else.

It's not all in your head!

Our bodies and unconscious minds hold deep wisdom. To heal from past struggles and create fulfilling lives, we must learn to connect our logical minds with our lived experiences. You can’t truly know yourself without embracing your whole being. You can’t think your way out of the exhaustion and burnout you’re feeling.

This is why I teach you the science behind what’s happening in your brain and body. I want you to understand yourself more fully, make sense of what’s happening within you, and empower you to consciously reclaim your life.

My Approach

I believe everyone deserves to live a life they love, but societal pressures and expectations of relentless productivity often get in the way. We cope, but still wonder why we feel exhausted and can’t figure this whole work-life balance thing out.

The key to a healthy, sustainable life is breaking the unconscious survival patterns that keep us stuck. What got you here will not get you there. A deep transformation, like rising from the ashes as a magnificent MF-Phoenix, is what will. 🐦‍🔥

Through teaching, coaching, somatic exercises, mind-management tools, and proven strategies, I help you heal, reduce stress, eliminate chronic pain, and reclaim your time, energy, and life.
